So yeah. it might be smart to put my writings here instead of in the art thing. Derp.
Last thing I made:
"It's time we bury her Amo.." Bryce said with a sad, but persistent voice. Amo smiled at him with an honest, calm smile. "What are you talking about? She'll wake up, give her a break.. she's just tired." His behavior was starting to get scary. He was retreating into denial further and further, up until the point that he was making up his own stories. His eyes were focused on Liv, laying in a bed, rather peacefully. "Buddy.. i'm sorry but.." Bryce put a hand on his shoulder. "You know she's not coming back, and her body can't stay here." Amo looked at him with the same vacant expression, completely stuck in his own beliefs and fear. It couldn't be that she just 'wasn't coming back', it had just turned out that she felt the same way that he felt about her, life wouldn't be that cruel. Right? They just realised their feelings for each other, they had a whole life in front of them. "Sorry Amo.." Bryce whispered.
Amo kept his eyes on Liv, but frowned when Bryce pulled her up out of the bed and threw her over his shoulder. When the vampire tried to walk out the door with her, he immediately stood up, knocking over his chair. Quickly he walked towards him and tried to pull Liv away from him. Bryce resisted and kept him at a distance, but was trying not to hurt him. Amo was panicking, and very much so trying to hurt the other man. "Don't take her away, if you take her away she'll have more trouble getting home. SHE CAN'T BE DEAD!!" he yelled.

------------------- Interrogation ----------------------------
I can't take this anymore. Amo's vision was blurry. He blinked multiple times, but it just wouldn't get better. Blood was dripping on his lap, it made its way around his eye instead of through it, which he was thankful for. The smack they had given him with the shovel had been enough to give him a concussion, and the blood showed how awful he felt on the inside. "So, you're awake again?" a mocking voice spoke. He tried to lift up his head, but it hurt too much, making it flop back down. Why did he even try? He knew who was talking to him. One of those bastard vampires. "Not too fresh yet I see.." the voice continued. Amo wanted to respond, but he was still trying to get himself together. The concussion was making his mind blurry and his head was pounding from the wound on his head. He couldn't even rub his damn head, his wrists were tied behind a wooden chair. Another drop fell on his bloodsoaked jeans. If only he had his gun n-
"I'd like you to meet Larissa, mister La Mour. She's our vampire psychic." his voice was still mocking, and it was starting to annoy the hell out of Amo. "She'll give us a reading of you and.. well, let you help us find that vampire that's on the wrong side of the damn fight." "I won't, you should know that.." the tied-up man softly responded. The vampire laughed. "Oh trust me, you will." Amo outted a lost laugh, he didn't really know how else to even react to anything right now. He closed his eyes, it was becoming difficult not to fall asleep. But his eyes sprung right open, when he felt two hands on his knees. "Dear, i'm Larissa." her voice sounded surprisingly soft and sweet, which made him raise his head now. He looked straight into two big blue eyes. After his vision started to adapt slightly, he saw a beautiful young woman. She had flowing thick curls framing her face, a voluptuous set of lips and a timid face. If he hadn't known better, he'd thought she was an innocent young woman, not a vampire.
"I'll be looking around a bit, don't be scared." Some of the vampires in the back started to make comments, but he couldn't really make out what they said. Instead he just tried to focus on the woman's words. Look around? He didn't really know what she meant, but he wasn't comfortable with anything right now. For a moment everyone was silent, even the woman at his knees. He tried to listen carefully, since his eyes were still failing him too much to count on. "I see a girl.." she started. The vampires in the back mumbled. Amo looked up, she wasn't going to- "What is the use of a girl when we want the damn traitor?" one of the vamps yelled. She didn't respond, but only looked at him. This was enough to make him fall silent. How much power did this woman have? She seemed so fragile, so delicate, almost like a doll. Larissa turned to Amo again. "But it's.. two-faced. On the one side I see a girl that was one of us, a girl that you had strong bonds with. A bond that couldn't be overwritten.. am I right?"
Amo frowned and looked at her in surprise. He wasn't prepared for this.. And most of all, he didn't want to talk about this at all. His face had turned completely pale. Part of it was most likely the blood, but another part was fear. Fear of talking about things he liked to avoid, plus, he didn't want people looking in his head. He had practiced his mask for a reason. When Amo only responded with a shocked face, the blonde vampire continued. "But, you tried very hard to get rid of those feelings." She nodded. "But then someone came along. Someone completely different." The man's heart was beating in his throat. They could see everything in his head. He didn't want to be confronted with a lot of things, things he was running away from. But what could he do about it? He tried to move his hands, try to get them out of the rope, but to no avail. Larissa seemed to ignore it, even though she noticed. She was in complete concentration. "She's alive today. And around you and young Bryce a lot," Larissa spoke. "Your feelings are quite extensive for her, aren't they?" "She might be the key!" a vampire in the background spoke.
"It's here.." Liv mumbled. Liv stopped at one of the doors. She in an abandoned factory, just outside a small farmer's village. They'd gotten the lead from the demon, Shen. He gave them three options where Amo could be, so they couldn't do anything but split up. Time was running out, and they didn't have a second to lose with those powerful vampires. No matter how annoying and asshole-ish he could be, sometimes he was useful and helpful. Liv was standing at the left side of the door, focussing on the sounds inside.
"Silence you idiot, let her speak." "Tell me sweetheart, aren't your feelings so much you'd die for this young woman?"
A silence fell, and Liv was confused. What was going on in there? She pulled her gun and loaded it, just to be sure. She then cocked it and kept her eyes on the door, with a mixture of fear and anger. She was sure, not one vampire would get out alive. Not for what they did to Amo.

Amo kept silent. It was slowly starting to dawn on him, they were going to use this information for all the bad things they could think of. "Aren't they?" Larissa insisted. "It would be a shame if someo-" "You don't touch her." Amo responded resolute, more tough then he'd ever sounded. His eyes were now focussed on her the complete time, no matter how dizzy his mind felt. He didn't trust any of them anymore, not even her. The vampires in the back started laughing, clearly very amused. Amo wasn't. "You don't fucking touch her," he repeated, his eyes narrowed. Larissa got up on her feet, clearly not impressed, the other vampires fell silent, for reasons unknown to Amo. But it appeared she still had her focus on him. She seemed.. different. Ever since she got the information dragged out of his head, her innocence seemed to be gone. Apparently it was all an act. The nice smile that had first laid on her face, changed into a sinister smirk.
"And what were you going to do about it boy, hm?" she said in the same, now chilling calm voice, "We can leave you here and just walk on out of here. If you guys have Bryce in hiding.. I couldn't see his current location boy, why is that?" Amo grinned as his expression turned into a challenging, pubescent one. "After all your chasing these past months, we split up for a while. We've been doing this for a while now you know.. Safety precautions, they both didn't stay in my house." Larissa laughed. "Oh but I did see you going to to the girl's temporary living place young boy.." Amo's eyes widened and it got hard to breathe. She saw that? Well how were they supposed to know there'd been a psychic among them?? He tried to keep the rest of his face under control, but it was difficult. "What was it for..You just went shopping? Oh I see, you used an excuse to get her on a date?"
He looked away, maybe so. He secretly started to miss her and wanted to meet her, so he said he needed a second opinion for some new clothing. Of course, she replied that she wasn't the person to ask that, but he insisted. He then came to where she lived temporarily until the chasing stopped, which they talked about in person, so that the phone lines couldn't be tracked down. They went shopping for a bit, but he then proposed to take her to the movies. This seemed to make her look absent, or.. well, he didn't know what to think of it. Even after he pushed somewhat, she still said no and he walked her home. "We can give her a visit." "No you won't," Amo responded, now louder and more in panic. "If you kill me here, I will haunt you and kill you from the other side." He sounded more evil than he'd ever thought he could be. He had had his moments of anger and toughness with Elizabeth back then, and maybe a few times he got in the same anger-point as now. But he almost never got pushed to such extremes before.
"If you don't tell us where Bryce is boy, we will kill her. I suppose you don't want that?" "You won't kill either of them, I won't let that happen!" Amo yelled. The blonde vampire now got extremely annoyed. She suddenly expressed a moment of rage, she kicked the chair over so that Amo landed on his back painfully, outing sounds of pain. All the vampires around her whispered, clearly in shock. She then grabbed the back of the chair and pulled it up again, after which she focussed her eyes on him again. Maybe if they tried to make him so insecure by using his own thoughts.. they could even have the fun to kill both. And of course they would kill this one once they were done, but he didn't know it yet. "You do know she doesn't like you in that way right?" Larissa's voice was calm again, sweet and soft. But Amo wasn't falling for it again, instead he painfully looked at his lap again, covered in blood. "You're just a shell. You've got a pretty cover, but the pages are blank.. She thinks so too. The only reason you seem to be so social is because you try to cover up the real you. You annoy her, you wonder why she's always so angry. It's not towards anyone, it's just you."
Amo's face was now obviously insecure and in pain. She had looked inside his head, and was now hitting him in all the painful spots. He knew she didn't like him, she made that clear whenever he tried to get closed to her. The feelings he thought she had for him in the beginning, turned out to be there only because of the situation. "I know that," he smiled softly, his head still hanging down, "don't worry."

"And Bryce. You think you're friends?" she started mercilessly again, "All he sees in you is an easy homeplace and money. How could he think of you the way you think of him?" She laughed. "Best friends? You know that's not true. You can wish boy, but how could he like an unmanly guy like you, when he's so tough?" She hit the nails on their heads. It hurt so bad, to hear his thoughts being spoken aloud, the thoughts he ran from and tried to deny. Tears were almost welling up in his eyes but he forced them away. He didn't want to show that to anyone, let alone these people. If he could even call these monsters people. "I said I know that.. You looked into my damn mind just now, you know everything right?" Larissa kneeled down before him again, still sporting the calm voice. "I know dear, but.. are people that don't care so much about you, really worth the trouble of saving? Give us their location dear."
Amo looked up and laughed. "No," he merely replied. "Why you little piece of shit.." the woman now said, and she smacked him on the head, where the wound of the shovel had been. Amo couldn't help but scream. It was as if his head was hit so hard, that there was a break in his skull. The dizziness was still there, so he hung his head down again, leaning his chin on his chest. When he heard a loud thump, he didn't even bother to look up, everything hurt too much.
"Amo!" he heard a familiar voice yell. Immediately he looked up, and gunshots were heard. The vampires were yelling, and in a matter of seconds the whole room had changed into a battleground. It was hard to see anything, but there was no mistaking the voice. He looked around in panic, until he found Liv, who at that moment kicked a vampire in the abdomen and shot another in the face. No matter how well she was doing, Amo was scared something could happen to her. "LIV, GET OUT OF HERE!" he screamed over all of the gunshots, screams and commotion. "Oh hell no," she responded loudly as she fired another shot, that missed, "i'm getting you away from he-" Half of her last word was cut off, and changed into a scream. "Liv!?" he yelled, still in panic.
He was trying desperately to get his hands out of the rope, but the bastards craftfully made sure his claws couldn't reach the rope. He then started to pull aggressively with his arms, which only seemed to make the thing tighter and wounds appear on his wrists. "We have one of them Larissa," a vampire spoke with a tired voice. Amo looked across the room, four vampires laid dead, six were left including the psychic. He was surprised and amazed that Liv actually managed to shoot so many of them, but he was equally worried about what they planned to do with her now. "Good job, that fucking bitch shot four of us," Larissa spoke with a cold and angry voice. She didn't seem too sad, which scared Amo to no end. "Now will we kill her mister la Mour?" Before Amo could say anything, Liv responded. "You have no fucking right to talk to him like you did before I entered. You bitch."
Larissa only laughed, and Amo's heart was beating in his throat. She heard everything? He shook the thought away quickly, it didn't matter. If a miracle didn't happen, they were both doomed. A vampire held Liv's hands behind her back. She was struggling to get out of the grip, but it was too strong. Amo as well tried, but quickly stopped when Larissa spoke again. "Well then. She's being a pain, you're being a pain. Do you not understand we are serious? Maybe we should prove it." The other vampires cheered, happy to get their revenge for their fallen comrades. "Mister la Mour?" They didn't have any use for him anymore, but the girl might know more about the vampire. They could just as well get rid of the man, if they did, the girl might fear for her life and lead them straight to Bryce. But if she didn't, Larissa could enter her mind as well. If she came looking for him, the other probably did too. They must've had some conversation which could lead to finding him. But the blonde vampire prefered not to, it drained her mind and she could only take a certain amount.

Amo looked up in fear, not sure what he could do. His spirit was drained and his self-loathing was at a maximum thanks to the digging in his head and the words Larissa spoke. "We have no use for you anymore son," she spoke colder than ever. "It's time to leave this world." Amo only raised his eyebrows slightly, but didn't respond further. No fear, no stubborn words and no fightning. If both Liv and Bryce didn't care for him as much as he thought, and he did care for them so much.. then it would be better if he was the one who died. He didn't even think of saving Liv anymore or struggling for anything. His mind was blurred by the concussion and depression. He gave up. As always, he gave up so quickly.
Larissa walked towards him and held a knife in her hand, with which she cut through the ropes. Amo rubbed his wrists but remained seated in the chair. The vampire now stood next to him, with the knife in her hand. "I'll kill you quick and painless." "You're not doing anything of the sort," Liv growled, and tried to escape the clutches of the vampire behind her again. But no matter how she kicked him, it didn't work. She was starting to get desperate. She looked at Amo, who was sitting in the chair in a calm and lost fashion. It was as if there was nothing left of the man. But she couldn't live without him. And after hearing everything before the entered the room, she now knew for sure that he cared about her more than she thought. How could she have been so stupid? She frowned, and decided to throw her tactic at Amo's gentlemanly values. It's the only thing she thought would work in an impactful way, well.. except for one other thing. But she was so scared for that on the inside, her past and her wall prevented her to do that without thought.
"You're just going to leave me here to get killed by these ugly monsters?" she yelled at him, angry and secretly scared to bits. They weren't going to lose each other again. "You're just going to sit there and die, while you could save me?? What kind of a man are you?" "I'm no man," Amo mumbled back, his dead eyes focused on hers, blood dried up on his face. "I'll die here you know, they'll kill me once you're gone. You're that fucking stupid that you think i'll get out alive?" Liv's voice had a higher pitch and she couldn't control her emotions anymore. Her eyes were teared up and she tried to get to him desperately. Amo's eyes widened and he frowned as he looked from Liv to Larissa and back again. The blonde vampire was not impressed and was sure of herself, she was sure that Amo wouldn't stand up anymore. He himself.. he didn't know. He was beat. But he couldn't be the cause of Liv's death.. if that chance was there, how could he not do anything? If he would die anyhow, he might as well throw himself into death in a heroic matter.. right? Besides, he didn't want her to die of course.. He slowly got back some of his bravoure and rubbed his wrists again.
"I can't.. I can't help," he mumbled, now acting despite the true feelings that were in his words. But in a quick movement, he jumped to the gun they made Liv drop on the floor, and grabbed it. He was dizzy from the concussion, so he had to focus more than normally where the bullets would end up. While the vampires were shocked from the sudden movement, Liv got herself loose from the man behind her and kicked him between the legs. "You fucking bitch!" the vampire snarled. Amo shot at one of the vampires, first he missed, but the second and third bullet hit him in the shoulder and chest. Liv was taking care of another of them by hand, after she'd kicked him in the private parts. Amo tried to focus, but it was hard. But, luckily, he shot another one right in between the eyes. Only four left. He now aimed his gun at another and tried to pull the trigger, but the gun was empty. He cursed. And before he knew it, a vampire knocked him off his feet and pinned him to the ground, the gun fallen once again. Both Liv and Larissa looked at the thing, and ran towards it at the same time. Liv threw herself on her stomach on the floor, making her slide and getting quicker to the gun. She loaded it, but Larissa had already thrown herself on top of her. Liv screamed when the vampire buried her teeth in Liv's neck.
"Liv!" she heard Amo yell, but she needed to focus on the vampire first. Even though it hurt like hell, she continued loading the gun and cocked it. She pulled the trigger, put it to Larissa's chest and shot quickly multiple times. She didn't know if she hit her heart, but at least the vampire staggered back and Liv had the chance to get up on her feet. Amo was keeping another vampire off of him, whom was scratching him on his shoulders, trying desperately to get to him. The scratches hurt, but it couldn't compare to him biting his neck. Amo pulled his face back in shock, when a bullet flew past into the head of the vampire. The vampire collapsed and Amo looked at Liv. She'd gotten to be a damn good shooter. There were two vampires left, one tending to Larissa and one now rushing towards Liv. "Look out!" Amo outed but he was too late.

The vampire threw himself on the young woman, who was too shocked to immediately be able to respond. Amo came into action without thought, grabbed the man by the hair and pulled him away from Liv, leaving the thing growling and snarling in the air. This gave her a chance to shoot the thing, which she did accurately. The vampire fell to the ground, and the both of them now walked up to the one bent over Larissa, growling at Amo and Liv. Liv didn't hesitate, and immediately shot it. But how tough she portrayed herself was fiction, because the hand around her gun was shaking. She tried to fire once more, to check if he was really dead, but it was empty again. She didn't have more ammunition, so she threw the thing away in an aggressive manner. Amo didn't even bother to look around, the burden of getting Liv safe was gone. "Y-you monsters.." Larissa surprisingly muttered, still barely alive.
"Well that's fucking high-talk," Liv snarled to compensate for her shaking, "You were the monsters, you abducted Amo and try to kill us all." Amo wanted to say something, but Larissa suddenly looked him straight in the eye while raising her upper body from the ground. He fell silent. "You," she spoke to Amo, "I saw more in your head. About your mother, your father.." Liv turned to Amo and looked at him, it seemed as if he shrunk several sizes. He looked at the floor, his shoulders down and his hair blocking the view to his face. "The fact that you couldn't protect her from your father. Just like you couldn't protect Elizabeth, that's why she left you." Liv clenched her fists. "Stop it bitch!" she warned. But the woman didn't listen and continued.
"And you know deep inside you can't seem to do anything for the ones you love. They always end up dying for you or saving you, don't they? Your mother died protecting you, Elizabeth left you because you couldn't protect her.. And look here, again being-" "SHUT UP!!" Liv turned to Amo, who was the one that screamed and clenched his fists. His hair made seeing his expression impossible, but he was shaking. Liv stepped to the woman and grabbed the knife from her hand. Larissa tried to resist, but she was too weak. With a fast and angry movement, Liv stabbed her in the heart. When the vampire didn't move anymore and her eyes closed, Liv pulled the knife back and stood up. She then dropped it on the floor, shaking. Her eyes went back to Amo.
She saw he had slumped into a chair, his arms on the armrests, one hand up supporting his forehead. His legs were casually on the ground, not as he would normally sit. His jeans were covered in bloodstains, his hair and face were also covered. He just sat there, quiet. "Amo?" she whispered carefully. He didn't respond. She walked towards him and sat down on her knees in front of him, worried and a lot softer-spirited than she normally was. "Amo, are you okay?" She put her hands on his knees, not sure how to handle this. When she could see his face from that angle, it got difficult to breathe. Amo always had that.. enthousiastic spark in his eyes, if he was sad or if he was happy, his eyes sparkled. She would never tell him, but she liked that. Now his eyes were dead, there was no light in them and he just stared blankly at his lap. "Amo.." she whispered again.
He still had his eyes fixated on his lap, but he opened his mouth. "She's right you know. There's a reason for everything, and she's been right about everything.." His eyes didn't move for one moment, "How much did you hear?" "I think more than enough.." Liv responded. Amo gave an empty smile while still looking in the same direction, empty and without emotion. "Then you know, you know what I am, a curse.. Someone that can't even seem to lift a finger. Someone who will end up alone in this world." "Amo no you-"

"You know.." Amo now looked at Liv with those dead eyes and she bit her lip. He now leaned with his cheek on the palm of his claw and he smiled. "I tried hard though. I smiled, I smiled through everything. I eventually met the love of my life.." Liv looked down. She knew it, she couldn't compare to Elizabeth. It had started to become clear slowly, but painfully. "And then I tried to forget her, didn't work, people only see me for my looks, and then.." He laughed in an almost scary way. "I like you.." Liv blurted out before she knew it and she looked at him for a moment, but then averted her eyes. "I... I know i'll never be Elizabeth and I know you probably only love her right now still but.." When she shortly met his eyes again there was clear shock in them. She quickly looked away again. "But.. yeah, just wanted to get it out there. So that.. you know that.. and.. maybe it makes you feel better.."
"What..?" the man in the chair mumbled, clearly confused. Liv couldn't control her emotions anymore, and tears started dripping down from her brown eyes. "I have feelings for you okay.." she whispered. "And I somehow wish I was Elizabeth." She violently wiped some tears away. "I don't even know anymore okay!?!" Amo leaned forward from his chair as Liv's shoulders were shaking and crying more violent than he'd ever seen before. He got up and kneeled before her, which made her look up in surprise. She felt his arms closing in around her upper body and tried to fight it by pushing him away, but she was shaking too much. His arms closed around her tighter and he pulled her towards him, his cheek on her head. He was shaking, just like she was.
"Stop it, I don't want your pity!" she outed, but it wasn't very convincing. "I'm not pitying you.." he said softly in her ear, which made her shiver. "You're not Elizabeth, i'm sorry." Liv's shoulders stopped shaking and with a sad look in her eyes she tried to look away from him, but was still locked inside his grip. "But.." She looked up in confusion, while he created some distance between the both of them. She froze when he put his hands on her cheeks and looked her in the eye, a tiny sparkle entering his pupils again. "You're Liv, and at this moment.. that makes you the best thing I could wish for.." Her breath stopped for a moment and she looked at his eyes, the eyes that she would not trade for another thing in the world. She saw him coming closer and didn't protest, instead she slowly closed her eyes and they kissed. For what felt like hours, they just sat there, lips softly pressed together and his hands on her cheeks. Amo then pulled back and left his hands in her neck, as he put his forehead against hers.
Liv awkwardly looked away, but couldn't help being drawn to his eyes again. "I thought you didn't have feelings for me..?" the dark-gray haired man said carefully. She bit her lip and tried to keep looking at him. "I thought the same with you.." Without even thinking further, she threw herself on Amo and cried. No more walls and no more holding back. He kept silently stroking her hair, with a soft smile on his face she could not see. "I'd never have thought.." Amo said with almost a quiver in his voice. "Guys!" they heard Bryce yell. "Here!" Amo replied. He then looked down and squeezed his grip around Liv slightly.
"..That a confession to someone could make me feel this happy and relieved." Liv grabbed him tighter and didn't say a thing. She didn't know whát to say. She just wanted to never let him go again. She never wanted to feel so insecure as she just did again. And she more than anything, wanted to feel this feeling forever. Bryce slammed the door open and found the two still in the same position. "Holy shit," he mumbled, as he laid eyes on Amo's headwound. "Let's get you guys out of here." Liv still had her face buried in Amo's chest, and she shamefully wiped her tears on his shirt before showing herself to Bryce. She then stood up and the both of them supported Amo, as they walked home. To safe, home sweet home.

------------------- end of interrogation story
Fairytale --------------------------------------------- "This way!" Bryce yelled and Amo looked up. The stairs seemed to be going on forever, but finally they'd reached what seemed to be upstairs. They both had done their research since Liv had vanished, Bryce more calm than Amo, but nonetheless they succeeded. But the research didn't include a map of the tower. But then again, who could've thought fairytales could come true? Amo had seen loads of Disney movies when he was younger, but when researching at home he found out that the originals were not as rose-colored as he thought. And unfortunately, the Djinn wasn't keen on the happy remake. They'd had to deal with deaths, gruesome creatures and sad endings. But Amo wasn't going to let Liv have a sad ending. He clenched his fists and ran to Bryce, who was standing upstairs, his eyes fixated on an opened door. "What?" he asked, stopping before him. "We thought it would be sleeping beauty, and it is." Bryce's eyes went to the floor and he rubbed his neck. Amo would've expected a mean comment about Liv not being a beauty, but to his amazement it went silent. His eyes went to the room, and there layed Liv. Peacefully on the bed, the light from outside shining through the small window. It seemed as if she was so calm.. "And what was sleeping beauty's catch..?" Amo asked, his eyes on the sleeping beauty before him.
"Well.." Bryce walked into the room and locked the wooden door, just to be sure nothing could easily come in. Amo looked at him impatiently. Whatever it was, it couldn't be good. "In the original tale.. her father comes up the tower, sees her asleep and well.." Bryce paused and looked at Amo with awkward eyes. "Rapes her. She gives birth to two children while still asleep, and she wakes up years later to find herself a mother.." Amo froze. So what did it mean they had to do? "You're not saying one of us needs to rape her right?!" Amo said with a helpless expression, his arms thrown in the air. "I don't know. I have no idea how this world works anymore man." Bryce leaned against the wall, avoiding looking at Liv on the bed. "Up until now all the endings we witnessed were either the originals, or completely mixed and fucked up."
Amo stayed silent and didn't really know what to think of it. He couldn't do that, it was a horrible thing and he knew Bryce couldn't do it either. Would it mean she would stay asleep forever? He bit his lip. That's couldn't be the ending.. Suddenly, a knocking sound on the door. Both Amo and Bryce froze and looked at the door. Bryce immediately pulled his gun and kept it against his chest. Who was that? Bryce carefully walked over to the door with the gun still in his hand, ready to fire. Amo now put his hand on his gun too while he stood in front of the bed, ready to defend the unmoving body of Liv when needed. They looked at each other and nodded, after which Bryce opened the lock and threw the door open, gun facing whatever came through.
But whatever it was, they didn't have a name for it. It seemed.. like a dark mass, clearly an older man, formed by a dark mist. Stumped, they watched as he walked towards the bed and leaned over Liv, his hands on the matrass. But when the man kissed Liv, Amo got out of his shock and in an impuls he pulled his gun out and pointed it at him. "G-get away from her!" he said, scared as fuck. The thing wasn't scared off and put his hand on Liv's chest, which made Amo lose his calm. He cocked the gun and shot the thing with a saltbullet, enraged. The thing gave a high-pitched screech but then popped up right in front of Amo, screaming. Bryce immediately shot at it, which made him screech more and explode as a dust cloud.
Amo let out a relieved sigh, clearly still pissed off. Bryce outted a nervous laugh. "Well now i know what your trigger is," he said with a teasing smile. Amo smiled back. He didn't expect to react so heavily either. But if he was the king, it meant they weren't the ones that needed to perform something horrible to Liv, which made him relieved. "But if he was the one.. then how do we help her now?" Bryce shrugged, they were both lost in this one. Was the only option really the thing they both could not bear doing?
Amo walked towards the bed and sat down, looking at Liv. If only this was the Disney version of things. "Look, let's just get her out of here first. God knows what kind of things are still here, we better get to the forest. We culled the wolf already, so the biggest danger is gone." "Yeah.. you're right," Amo bit his lip, "Can you handle the shooting? I'm not the best shot anyways." Bryce nodded and Amo threw him his gun, which Bryce caught skillfully. "For easy switching, at least you don't need to reload quickly. I can't shoot when carrying her anyways."
"Gonna be allright, i'll shoot their asses off," Bryce joked, trying to lighten the mood. Amo stood up from the bed and took one last glance at the sleeping Liv. He didn't know what to do for now, but finding a more peaceful spot wouldn't be a bad idea. He gentle slid his right arm under her legs, and the left under her lower back. With a fluid motion he stood up, changing her position somewhat to make the carrying easier, her head leaning against his chest. "I'm ready," he said with a serious tone.
Bryce opened the door and went ahead, his own gun ready to shoot in his hand. Amo followed him, sometimes raising up Liv in his arms to make sure she didn't fall. Heh, he thought, if she was awake she'd kick his ass now. They were halfway the stairs, but no entities yet. But when they took one more step, a menacing growl echoed through the walls. They both froze. "The fuck was that?" Bryce whispered. Amo just looked around him in fear, but then gently pushed Bryce on the shoulder to continue walking. While they both looked around them in paranoïa, they walked on, more careful than before. Every now and then, another growl was heard which made the entire building shake. And the closer they got to the entrance, the louder it got.
Amo saw Bryce freezing when he went to look out for what was outside. "You're not going to believe this.." he muttered. "What?" Amo walked towards the door, out of breath. "Holy sh-" It was a dragon, a big, huge, grey dragon. And when Amo spoke it had noticed them, looking them straight in the eye. "There wasn't a dragon in the original.." Bryce mumbled, "What the fuck is going on."
But the humongous being pulled his head backwards, and then almost engulved the three in a sea of flames, if it hadn't been for Bryce. He pushed Amo one side and jumped to the other on his own. Amo tumbled over the ground, trying to keep Liv harmless. Even though he kept her head completely safe, she did have some scratches on her legs. He himself had some as well, covering his legs and arms. The thing growled. "BRYCE??" "Here, i'm fine!" he heard him yell back. He sighed. "I'll run this way, you take the right side!" They had to go around the dragon to get to the forest. No matter how Amo wanted to ran from it, they had to go around.

Amo started running with Liv bouncing slightly in his arms. Nothing should happen to her, nothing. He kept his eyes on the ground and sometimes on the dragon, to check where it's beak was to avoid the flames. But what he didn't expect, was the giant tail of the beast. It slammed on the ground, making the ground shake and Amo being lifted into the air. He landed back on his knee with sleeping beauty still safely in his arms, but only merely avoided a slam of the tail aimed at him. He started running again. "O shit o shit o shit," he repeated while running as fast as he could. He looked in front of him, Bryce was quite a bit faster and running ahead, sometimes looking over his shoulder if Amo followed up.
Only when they made it inside the forest, surrounded by the first set of trees, it was then that Amo had the guts to stand still and look behind him. Bryce also stopped, and they panted. Amo's arms began to feel extremely heavy, he felt them shaking and was having more trouble holding Liv. He raised her up in his arms a bit again, to prevent her from slipping. "I'll save you, don't you worry," he whispered to her softly. Even though he had no idea if he could or how he would do it, he'd find a way. He had to find a way. For a moment he was surprised by his own resolution. He was starting to like her more and more, and he couldn't stop it. Even the confusing thoughts about Elizabeth seemed to be pushed to th background more and more. He hadn't had that in all this time, why now? Was he actually feeling more- "I think we got rid of it, i can't hear it anymore," Bryce walked back a bit and peeked, "Yep, not following us."
Amo let out his breath, finally getting more relaxed. "Oh thank god, hopefully we'll be at least a little bit safe here.." he said, his eyes focused on Liv's peaceful sleeping face. She was gorgeous when she was just calm, no wall in front of her. No, this wasn't a time to think about such things. A drop of fluid dropped on his cheek and he looked up. "Oh fuck," Bryce moaned, "It's not going to rain is it-" But at that very moment, more drops came from the sky and then it was raining heavily. What were they supposed to do? Amo strengthened his grip around Liv and looked around, he had no clue how to go on now. Then, he had an idea.
"Bryce, could you do some more research on this?" "But then i'd have to leave you alone here to die!" Amo looked at him with a smile, "I'm not completely useless. I'll find a dry spot and stay there safely 'till i hear from you.. Is that a deal? When we're both here we won't get any further.." "Then why can't you go?" Bryce's eyes went to the worried expression in Amo's. He forgot, the man was overly worried. Amo was a man that easily agreed to a lot of things, but when it came to not helping someone, he became awfully stubborn and scared. "Never mind, just be careful okay?"
Amo simply nodded, and Bryce took the flask of potion they'd gotten from Shen out of his pocket. With one simple sip, he was gone, and Amo was left alone in the rain, Liv in his shaking arms. Within only that short time, he'd already gotten soaked. And so did sleeping beauty. "Shit.." he mumbled while he looked around. Not a cave in sight, no houses.. He only saw a tree thick enough to offer sóme protection. He hurried to the tree and kneeled down as he laid Liv down on the ground. The rain was still coming through the leaves, so this wouldn't be good enough. He looked at her clothing. Nothing but a tank top and some jeans, the usual. He sighed, she'd go freezing like that. His eyes went to the sleeves of his vest. Thank god he'd taken a vest for now, instead of formal wear.
"You're a handful aren't you?" he said softly, as he stripped himself from his vest. He gently grabbed her upper body and pulled her towards him, as he wrapped the vest around her as tightly as possible. He shivered and immediately rubbed his own arms. So cold.. They had to find another spot, there was still too much water seeping through the leaves. He shook his arms for a bit; even though they were still shaking, they had to move on. Again he put his arms under her and stood up, in now just a t-shirt which was already getting soaking wet. Again he shivered, and started running.
After almost what seemed to be half an hour passing by, he saw a cave. Oh shit, Bryce still had the gun.. What if there were other fairytale creatures of horror inside the cave.. he wouldn't be able to protect them. He looked back in doubt, and then back at the cave. Well, he'd have to. He didn't want either of them catching a cold. With a steady pace he walked towards the cave, watching everything around him carefully when he was inside. But nothing seemed to be there, aside from a few bats. He decided to just stay close to the entrance for safety, and kneeled down again, clearly tired. He put her down while he fixed the vest around her. "Now what.." he mumbled as he looked at the rain pouring down. He looked at Liv again, laying on the cold stone ground. Without any more thought he grabbed her waist and pulled her against him, er back against his chest, arms around her shoulders and legs on both sides of hers, to shelter her from the wind as much as possible.
"Don't get mad at me," he started to whisper as if she was still awake. "I'm only doing this for you own good you know." He felt as if he was starting to lose his mind. But whatever kept him going, he wouldn't complain. For minutes they just sat there, in silence and Liv not moving a muscle while Amo was shivering. It scared him, he wanted to know when it was time to worry for her temperature, but if there was no indication aside from the feel of her skin.. he had nothing to go on. With lack of better solutions, he started rubbing her arms with his hands. "What was the original story again.. the prince kissed her right?" he sighed. "But i'm no brave prince.."

He kept thinking as his hands were starting to get soar from the rubbing, but he stubbornly continued. "Wasn't it.. a true love's kiss? Or something like that.." Amo put his fingers on Liv's neck to check her heartbeat, thankfully it was still there. But her skin was beginning to feel colder and colder over time, the color on her cheeks made place for a pale almost blue-ish one. "Liv??" He turned her around so he could see her face, which on further inspection indeed had the blue hue. No more patience, he panicked.
"Liv.. hang on..!?" Her breathing was starting to get slower and less frequent, and tears started to well up in his eyes. What could he do? What in gods name could he do? He took her cheek into his hand and leaned her with her back against his chest again, while turning her sleeping face towards him. Quickly he pressed his lips on hers. Just as fast he pulled back, looking at her face again. "It's not working?" Amo whispered quavering. "It's not working.." His hands were starting to make helpless movements while grabbing her closer to him, he was starting to panic more and more. She couldn't die on him. He couldn't let his sleeping beauty die on him.
"Liv no.. Liv.. Please Liv.." He started to mumble uncontrollably when she got to feel ice cold, her breathing nearly stopped. A tear went down his cheek. He kept her close, rocking back and forth with his face buried in her dark hair. "Please don't die on me Liv.. I don't know what i'd do without you.." As usual he didn't even care what he blurted out, as long as it was the truth in his eyes, he'd say it. Not that there was anyone to hear it anyways.. Though he wish there was..
More tears started rolling down. He now started to rock her back and forth almost compulsively, shoulders shaking from the heavy crying. "No no no no no.." He felt her neck again, but no heartbeat.. none. His eyes were widened, his mouth half-open and his hand shakingly stroking her cheek. "You're not gone.." he cried, "I love you.. don't go.." His crying was now echoïng through the cave-walls. He kept looking at her face and then hugging her again, over and over..
It had to have been at least an hour, when Amo had dried up from tears and was sitting with his back to the cave wall. The body of Liv still in his arms, he sat there numb. What would he do now..? He looked at her and layed her upper body over his knee, supporting her with his right arm. "I love you.." he whispered again. One of the tears that were apparantly not dried up yet, fell on Liv's cheek and dripped down. He wiped her hair from her face and moved closer to her, still partially in denial. Softly he pressed his lips on hers while shaking, and for a few seconds he kept them there. Her lips were freezing cold..
He hugged her again. He had to keep hugging her, that way, it wouldn't feel as if she was gone. He felt a twitch near his arm, and suspected he was growing tired. But.. the twitch happened again. Suddenly, he heard a gasping sound. In shock he looked down. "Liv??" More sounds came out, as if she was choking, and he widened his eyes in disbelief. She was still there.. she was alive.. He pulled her upper body up again, back to his chest, making sure she had enough room to breathe. Her head started shaking and her breathing started to sound more normal. He kept supporting her, and when her breathing got more normal, he moved her a bit so he could see her face. She blinked once, twice, and opened her eyes. If Amo's smile had been any wider, it would've reached outside of his face.
"Wh.." she muttered. "Sh sh," Amo said and he put a finger on her lips. "Just wake up for a moment okay.." She kept quiet and closed her eyes for a moment while she took a deep breath in. "No no don't close your eyes, please," Amo muttered, "I'm sorry. I'm scared.." She opened her eyes again and frowned, clearly in confusion. He couldn't blame her, the last thing she probably remembered was getting abducted from their hotelroom. Now she woke up ice-cold, scratches on her legs and soaking wet. Amo started to rub her arms again, quicker and more enthousiastically. He clenched his legs together and in the process hers that were in between, to make her warm.
"Fuck, you're hurting me," he heard Liv whisper.
"I'm sorry.." Amo stopped rubbing her arms and instead just held her tight.
While he gave her a moment, he thought about many things. How scared he'd been, how Liv must feel, how cold it was. He shivered, the soaking wet t-shirt was starting to make him feel colder than he'd thought.
"What happened.." she mumbled while she started to shiver as well.
"You got abducted.. me and Bryce followed you with help from Shen. And then we got in this.. mixed, dark fairytale land. You were.. apparently, sleeping beauty."
"Sleeping beauty?" she said with some disgust.
"You're a gorgeous sleeping beauty."
/////////////////////////////////// Inge's respond in this part XD; Slowly but surely, Liv's mind became clearer. Despite Amo's attempts to warm her skin, she was still shivering. She realised she was wet through and through and she desperately tried to fill in the blanks but to no avail. She looked up at Amo for some kind of explanation - a reassuring one would be nice - , confused, exhausted and too tired to even think for herself.
"What on earth is going on? Where am I?" she whispered. Her voice had become hoarse and she coughed, after wich she closed her eyes for a moment, only to remember that Amo'd rather she didn't do that. She opened them again. It scared her, all of this. Everything and then some could have happened for all she knew. At least she wasn't alone. It was a comfort Amo was with her.

She fell silent, and Amo smiled. "But I like you more when you're awake." He hugged her tight, burying his face in her shoulder. Secretly, he smelled her hair for a moment. He couldn't even begin to explain how happy he was that she was still there, alive and well. "Well.. uhm," Liv answered awkwardly, "So.. how did you wake me up?" "Didn't you ever see the fairytale?" Amo said enthousiastically, not really able to hide his happiness right now. Liv only shook her head. For a moment Amo stayed silent.. he shouldn't tell her the original, he didn't want her to know what happened while she was out. "I uhh.. I kissed you awake."
Liv's face got color again, a brightred one. Amo kept his arms around her tightly, slightly getting warmer; which meant she had to be getting warmer herself. The fact that he had almost lost her, made him care very little about what consequences his words had. "It had to be a kiss of true love though.. Which means.. you must love me." A teasing look was in his eyes, a smile on his lips. When her face got even more red and she averted her eyes, while she cleared her throat. "Maybe.." she mumbled almost not understandable. "Well I love you, and i'm so glad your back!" He squeezed her and rubbed his cheek against hers, which made her try and push him away, not sure how to handle it. He just laughed and gave her a peck kiss.

-- A part of Kao's past --
Another fight. The neighbouring kingdoms had tried to attack them so many times. Sometimes with an even bigger army. But all the soldiers from Risulkha knew that it they had a special trait to them. The Soldier's Trance. Something caused by years of hypnosis and torture, meant to remove the boundary that the brain naturally had, making them able to move and fight at speeds normal men could not. This trance was triggered by the scent of blood when the soldiers would be under a moment of high risk to their bodies, or risk of dying. But..they were still just as dead as normal people though; once hit by sword or bullet.
"Don't worry so much." A barely seventeen year old boy stood in the middle of an immense army, shaking, with a heavy sword clutched in his hands. He was the youngest one there, the others were at least eighteen. His eyes were staring at the forest not far away. That's where they'd come from. He'd only had a lot of training and fought against óne person at a time, not this many. And here.. there was actually a huge chance he'd die. "I'll keep an eye out for you okay? I'm here, and if anything happens i'll help you. You'll do just fine." The man put a hand on his frail shoulder. His big brother. Not by blood, but Tarou had protected him ever since he was sold to the army. At only twenty-two years old, the young man was very mature and collected. A great fighter too. If there was anyone Kaoru looked up to, it was him. He took a deep breath and nodded, as his young green eyes turned more determined. But the determination soon vanished, as the horn was blown. Kaoru peeked between two of the tall soldiers before him and froze. They were running towards them.
"Attaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!" The men around him began running, and he got a small push in the back by Tarou to start running as well. The sand drifted up around him as they ran towards the enemy. The sword was heavy, but he held onto it as well as he could. Every step, every inch his heart began beating faster. He didn't want this. He wasn't a violent person. He really did not want any of this. Most of the soldiers were completely silent. Most of them armed with swords, some with bows. As the enemy was getting close, Kaoru could hear their weight resonating on the ground. Maybe it was weird to say, but the vibrations made everything even more intense.. and more terrifying. A hissing sound passed his left ear, which instinctively made him look to his left, over his shoulder. He was just in time to see one of the soldiers getting an arrow to the head; making him instantly fall down and the other soldiers running right on through. Automatically, he wanted to stand still, but thanks to the others running through, he got pushed away from the victim and was forced to keep running. It got difficult to breathe when he heard more arrows being fired. He held his sword tighter. He was tall for his age, very tall.. but he was glad that he was still just a tad shorter than most in this situation.
"Gods.. be with me today.." he whispered to himself as a prayer, while he kept on running. The impact was almost there. They were closing in on them and the few soldiers that smelled the blood of their comrades beside them; switched over to their trance. And then it was there. He heard the deafening sound of swords clashing. He froze. He knew he needed to charge, but instead he stood still, his sword in front of him; ready to defend himself. But it didn't take long before someone saw him, as defenseless as he actually was. A big man, muscled and equipped with chainmail and plated armor. Kaoru felt weak, unable to do anything. Their kingdom only had leather and fabric, they didn't care about the soldier's safety. They were at least thrice as strong as the enemies anyways. But before he had to take action, one of the soldier's that was triggered by the trance mauled the other man down. Kaoru shut his eyes when he saw the the bodyparts being ripped off of the enemy.
But when he opened them, as he'd feared; the fellow soldier turned on him. When the trance was triggered, the soldiers would kill anything in sight that seemed even slightly threatening. Kaoru lowered his sword, but it was too late. The other launched himself on the young teenager and grabbed him painfully by the shoulder. He wanted to scream, he wanted to fight him. But in his inexperience he froze once again. But in the fragment of a second, someone else entered the picture and impaled the soldier with a sword. He put his foot on the side of the body and pushed him from his sword, whereafter he looked at Kaoru. "You'll be okay," he simply said, and he ran back into battle. "Tarou!" Kaoru yelled, in the hopes he'd stay with him.

// onderbreking met iets anders.
"Amo, ten eerste het spijt me. Amo was even stil. "Ik.. moet even nadenken, oké? Dit komt echt snel allemaal op me af," was het enige dat eruit kwam. Waarom greep hij de kans niet met beide handen? Wat was er veranderd..?

"Liv, Liv what's going on with you?" Amo asked, squinting his eyes and moving closer towards the young woman. "Nothing," she said harshly. He stretched out his arm to touch her, but she cringed. Almost as if she was afraid of his touch. For a moment he looked at his own hand. She'd been distant for days now. And it bothered him more than he'd dare to admit. "Liv please talk to me, I can't ignore this anymore!" He now grabbed the woman by the shoulders, which made her look up. Tears were welling up in her eyes. "What is it? Why do you suddenly push me away so much. I can't even touch you without you shrinking two sizes.." She tried to look away again, but now Amo pulled her back by the chin, with force. He was way too worried, and was getting sick of this pulling on her. But it backfired on him, she looked at him as if he was a great danger and punched him in the face. She stood up and took a few steps back. "I'm sorry.." she mumbled, confused and scared. But of what Amo didn't know. She turned around to leave, but he wasn't being pushed off that easily. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her face to his chest. She struggled some and punched him in the chest a few times. It hurt, but he wasn't planning on letting go. He made sure his arms weren't choking her, but were still securely wrapped around her. She punched him again. "Liv i'm just holding you that's all, please, stop it. Calm down. I'm not fightning back." He loosened his grip some more and she seemed to calm down. Liv now let her arms down, standing there like a doll while Amo took a step back to check if she was alright. But this time is was Liv who buried her face in his chest. "He's making me. He's.. doing things to me, and I can't stop him."

What if something happened to Liv, but Amo didn't listen to her and was spending time with Elizabeth..? ..;
Despite being with his love once again, after having missed her for so long.. his thoughts would not leave him alone. The facial expression of Liv didn't leave his mind. "I'm going to destroy the final pieces of information on the library spirit." Liv turned around and put her coat on. She seemed so distant lately. "Are you sure? Don't you need my help? The movies with Eliz can wait." "No," she looked at him with cold eyes. "I'll be fine." He nodded, and she left.
He'd never been so easy to let her go off on her own, and it was bothering him. Elizabeth and he were watching a scary movie at that moment, and every scene made his fear something would happen to Liv play up. "Is everything okay?" Amo looked at the lady under his arm and he pulled her a bit closer. "I'm fine." He softly put a kiss on her hair. She kept looking at him, her green eyes not being fooled by his lies. She had never forgotten the way he was. He was nothing less than an open book to her. The normally reserved Elizabeth sat up straight and grabbed his chin.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" He was forced to look into her eyes for a moment. He smiled awkwardly. "I'm worried." "About your friend, Liv?" He simply nodded. "Then go check out how she's doing. Don't worry, I understand." Mature as ever, she hadn't changed one bit. Amo smiled and gave her a kiss, this time on the lips. He stood up from the couch, a guilt-filled look in his eyes. "Off I go then, don't get scared without me," he joked. "You'll be back to crawl into bed with me tonight right? Then I think i'll be fine." Elizabeth looked away shyly and Amo laughed. "I will."
Amo quickly put on his coat and scarf, it was snowing outside; so he'd better prepare. "Don't forget your gun Amo," he heard from the living room. Shoot, indeed. He grabbed the pistol from a drawer and put it in it's holster. Then he opened the door, and gone he was. Lucky for both Liv and him, the library they spoke of was closeby. Amo had never known there was something supernatural going on close to his own home. He started walking quicker, quicker. Before he noticed, he was almost running. Luckily for his stamina, he reached the library. He was probably just being overly worried again, but he just needed to check. Without further waiting, he opened the door to the library. Liv had already picked the lock. "Liv?!"
He walked through the reception and entered the library. But what he found, was more than what he had been afraid of. Liv was slumped down in a corner, wounds on her body and face. Amo couldn't breathe for a moment. "Liv!" The young woman opened her eyes. Thank god, at least she was still alive. He grabbed his gun and cocked it. He carefully looked around. "Watch out, he's caught me off guard too. I couldn't do a th-" Amo felt the sudden push of cold air against him and got lifted up in the air. He felt like he was choking, the air was pushing against his skin. He faintly heard Liv yell something. He tried to shoot once, straight ahead. But he had nothing he could aim on. His shot was answered by him being thrown through the air, thumping his back harshly against the wall. He fell down and coughed his lungs up, trying to get on his feet again.
Amo got up again and attempted to run towards Liv, but this time was interrupted by a full blast of air in his face. He fell back, but stubbornly got himself up again. He looked around. "Show yourself!" he yelled, a lot tougher than he felt. But to his surprise, the ghost did. Not clearly, but a grey mist was shown now. Amo didn't hesitate, and shot the thing immediately. Twice, thrice. A loud shrieking was heard, and the ghost seemed to explode. Ashes fell on the floor. Amo looked around, full of suspicion. Nothing. Nothing was attacking him anymore. He put the gun back in the holster and hurried to Liv. He kneeled down. "Liv.." he whispered softly. He felt horrible. He should've never let her go on her own..
"Come here." He grabbed her arm and tried to help her up. Stubbornly she tried to stand on her own, but her legs were shaking too much. He caught her and lifted her up in his arms. He noticed she was completely silent. Regardless, he carried her outside. He didn't care where he'd stop, as long as it wasn't in that library. He'd always hated staying in the room where a fight had taken place. With Liv safely in his arms he walked down the steps, away from the place. The entire time the young woman stayed silent. But once they were on the sidewalk, she spoke up. "Amo, let me down." "Are you sure you can w-" "Let me down." He nodded in silence. She was mad.. he could understand why. He should've followed her. Without uttering a word he put her down as carefully as he could. She was standing on her own, but he still kept being on edge, in case she fell.
"Why did you come?" she asked, eyes averted. He frowned. "Because I was worried." She looked at him for a moment, it hurt. The way she did this.. it hurt. He didn't know why. But one moment he was looking in her eyes, the next moment they closed and she fainted. "Liv, hey!" He caught her, just in time to guard her upper body from hitting the ground. He kneeled down in the thick layer of snow and pulled her closer. Her eyes were still closed as he gazed upon her face. He bit his lip and put his chin on her head, grabbing her as close as he could. "I'm so sorry.. I'm sorry I didn't push.. I knew you were hiding how much you didn't want to go on your own.. I'm sorry" He buried his face in her hair.
"Why aren't you with Elizabeth." Her voice sounded bitter. Somehow he felt like he needed to stay with her, regardless of Elizabeth missing him or not. He didn't know why. "I want to be here," he blurted out. Wait what? Well.. he did. His emotions said so. But why, how did this work? He was confused to the core. He moved away from her when he noticed she wanted to move. She looked him in the eyes. He looked back. For what seemed like hours, they kept looking at each other. Amo didn't even realise what he was doing. And he sure as hell didn't expect what came next. And he didn't fight it. Liv closed in on him and put her lips on his. He looked at her, surprised, for one moment. But then he also closed his eyes and almost instinctively put his hand in her hair. Liv moved back and looked at the ground. Amo did the same. "I'm confused," he admitted. "I don't know what's going on anymore. My heart is saying I want to be here, stay here with you. But the woman i've waited for more than five years.. is inside." Liv was silent. She didn't know what to say. But she didn't have to worry, Amo would talk on. "I.. I need to think. Something isn't right here, she needs to know what's going on inside my head, even though I don't know it myself."
