Nomi looked at the clock, stressed out and impatient. Only two hours remained until the guests would arrive. Granted, Nomi was a young man that worried quickly. Even worse, this was his first hosted party. He wasn't outspoken or good at planning, so he was glad two of his friends could come over and help him. He was blowing up the last balloon, put a knot in it and let it drop onto the floor. It looked so fun, all of the balloons on the floor. "Oh my.." he sighed whilst he let himself fall back onto the couch. "I'm out of breath now.." He closed his eyes for a moment, but opened them again when he thought about the guests. If only the party would be a success! He got up straight and looked at the table. Snacks, check. Balloons? Check. Enough room made in his living room to dance? Check! He even got his hands on a karaoke-machine. Excitement showed in his blue eyes as he looked at Weici and Maggie. "Well we're almost done i g-" He looked at the table again and realised something. "Ah! Drinks.. We have so much in the back but I forgot to put it here.. Could you help me bring all the bottles of coke and lemonade to the living room?" His lips formed an innocent, enthousiastic and boyish smile.

Maggie couldn't help it; she was excited. She wasn't much of a party animal, but something innocent like this was always fun. She was aware of how her grey hoodie smelled a wee bit of incense, but the others would probably think of it as nothing more than a weird type of perfume. "Ah! Drinks.. We have so much in the back but I forgot to put it here.. Could you help me bring all the bottles of coke and lemonade to the living room?" She looked up when Nomi spoke and nodded. "Of course," she said, when she suddenly remembered something. "Oh, by the way guys, I almost forgot. Roya's gonna be a bit later. She texted me earlier that her horse has some small injury she needs to treat," she said quickly. She kept forgetting treating animal's injuries was basically what Roya was studying. She walked over to the back and picked up four bottles of soda. Barely able to hold them, she staggered back, her face made of pure concentration. She sighed with pure relief when she had put them on the table; one had almost slipped away. "How many more do we need?" she asked the other two.
The exitement from the other two pumped her up. Weici her cheeks were hurting from the smile which was glued to her face, and the energy was flowing throuth her veins. She had been to more parties before, and it always turned out to be great fun, so she was curious how this one would turn out. When she saw Maggie with all the bottles of soda, she realized what Nomi asked before. “Ah yes!” She shouted enthousiastically. “I think we need four more just for now, and then we could get more later if we will run out.” She didn't wait for an answer, but just hopped to the back to get four more, and walked back to where the other two were. She sighed confident and relieved when she saw everything ready on the tables, the decorations they hung up at the ceiling and in front of the windows. “Well,” she said lively, “I think we're ready to wait for the guests, aren't we?”
Before he could even get up from the couch, Maggie had already made her way to the kitchen. He stood up, bit his lip nervously and raised his voice; "It's fine if she's later.. We need all the preparation we can get right!?" He followed her to the kitchen, where the girl barely made it back with four bottles. Nomi, even though he was male, could probably not even carry four bottles without falling flat on his face. He grabbed a bottle, but put it back when Weici grabbed a few. An uneasy look was in his eyes. It wouldn't take long before the guests would arrive, and he was nervous. Absent-minded, he walked back into the living room, almost tripping over the carpet but landing on his feet. With a brightred face he looked away. “I think we're ready to wait for the guests, aren't we?” Nomi nodded and quietly sat down on the couch. Nerves were rising, and in his mind he began to picture the room filled with party people. Thank goodness they were friends of himself or Weici and Maggie, and he trusted their judgement. Playing games, watching movies and listening to music, maybe even some karaoke. "Hmmmm everyone that's coming.." He pulled out his fragile fingers from the sleeve of his blue hoodie, and began counting. "Roya, Amodino, Kaoru, Oryon, Jason.."
“I think we're ready to wait for the guests, aren't we?” Maggie nodded briskly. "Yep, let 'em come," she said with a smile. "We're prepared for pretty much everything, I think." She looked at Nomi when he counted the people who would be coming. "Seems about it," she said hesitantly. "I mean, maybe a few will bring somebody along, but I doubt it'll get out of hand." She sat down on the clean couch, wich was completely free of nasty things such as alcohol, vomit or bloodstains, wich would also not ever possibly change. Maggie smiled. She looked forward to the party. After all, what in the world could go wrong with so much innocent, festive cheer?
"I mean, maybe a few will bring somebody along, but I doubt it'll get out of hand." She smiled, she did agree with Maggie there. With all the lemonade and all the things they could do the guests definetly wouldn't get bored. "Yes, we can do a lot here, and there's enough place for everyone who will come and probably even more!" Weici dropped on the couch next to Maggie and looked around the room once more. Everything was ready and perfect. "I think we should go get some lemonade ready," She said, "each a different col--" Then the bell rang. "Oh there's the first! Go and open the door Nomi, it's your party."
Nomi was almost bouncing up and down on one of the couches. The excitement was getting to him, as was nervosity. He hoped he wouldn't let his parents down, if they stained the couch he would be dinner. His adoptive parents were the most amazing people, but they were quite strict. "Seems about it. I mean, maybe a few will bring somebody along, but I doubt it'll get out of hand." He smiled at both of them. "Bring someone along? Y-yay!" his eyes shined, "I'd love to meet new people.. even though i'm shy with new people.. You guys know me well though!" When Weici mentioned how much space there was, Nomi counted the spots. There were two big couches and a loungechair, which counted seven. Then there were the four chairs they put close to the chairs. So there was place for eleven, well, that was móre than enough.
"I think we should go get some lemonade ready, each a different col--" Weici was interrupted by the bell, and Nomi's heart was beating in his throat. He stood up and looked at them both for a moment, stalling. This was his first ever party. Weici and Maggie were his only friends next to Amo and Kao, though those were more considered people he 'knew'. He was excited to meet new people. He walked to the glass door, closed this carefully not to break the glass and walked towards the hallway. Before he could get to the door, he was already greeted by his golden retriever, Bobby. He gave him a short pet over his lug head and smiled. Of course, he also had Bobby. The dog followed him to the door, which Nomi then opened. "H-hi.." he said softly, "C-come in".

Oryon stood in front of the door of the house he had to be. He was invited for a birthday party from Nomi, a friend of Weici, who he knew pretty well. The guy looked to the door and to the doorbell, and then he raised his right arm to look on his watch to check the time. He noticed he was too early but alright, knowing Weici and her parties she would prepare early, so maybe they would be done preparing already eventough the party wasn't from her, but from her friend. He let his arm rest against his side again and ringed the bell, waiting for someone to open, and let him in. When that happened he looked managed to make himself smile, because eventhough he wasn't too fund of parties, he couldn't help but be curious to what was going to happen next. With the present he brought clamped under his arm he waved shortly as greeting towards the guy who opened the door. "Hi there," he greeted, "thank you. You must be the birthday guy, aren't you?" He walked in after his question, still with the smile on his face.
When Nomi had opened his front door, he looked straight into an unknown smiling face, of someone that was probably about the same age as he was. "Hi there, thank you. You must be the birthday guy, aren't you?" Nomi mumbled some 'uhhs' and 'uhms' as he let the other person in, shy as he was, not being able to respond accordingly. His blue eyes shifted to the living room for a moment, where Maggie and Weici were. With whom he wasn't as shy. He looked at the other young man again, with a shy color on his cheeks and a rather faint smile. "H-hi yeah, i'm Nomi. You were with Weici right? S-she's in the living room.." He pointed towards said room.
"H-hi yeah, i'm Nomi. You were with Weici right? S-she's in the living room.." He heard Nomi saying, who appeared to be very shy, which he approved, but found stange. It's his birthday, so a little enthousiasm wasn't wrong in Oryon's opinion. "Congratulations!" he said, a little more enthousiast, "And yes, I was with Weici, my name is Oryon, nice to meet you. I brought you a present, I don't really know you, so.. I'm sorry if you don't like it, if that's the case please tell me and I will return it and give you something else some other time." The young man reached out the present, wrapped in purple wrapping paper with a big, shiny red bow glued on it. "Please open it later, when the other guests are here too." He smiled and walked to the room Nomi just pointed to, and walked in.
Maggie listened eagerly as she heard voices at the door, but she didn't get up from the couch. She'd see who it was soon enough. And see him she did. Recognize, too. Immediately she recalled the narrow, dark streets, following the boy while being unsure who was a greater threat, he or the police chasing her. The latter had proven to be the real threat, but Oryon still intimidated her a little. A knife pressed against your throat for seemingly no good reason was, after all, a bit of a rough start when it came to social interaction, wich was not Maggie's strong suit to start with. "H-hey," she greeted, hesitantly, feeling her cheeks fluster a tad, even though it was merely from not knowing how to deal with this sudden reunion.
His expression changed when he recognized the face of the young woman he saved from the so called 'bad guys' once. Oryon quickly glanced to Weici, who seemed to be surprised about that he didnt greet her yet. Quickly he changed his surprised, serious look to a while and greeted them both, then walked further into the room and sat down on one of the chairs around the table Maggie and Weici were sitting already. An awkward feeling came up, he wanted to ask her how she was after all that happened, but was scared of what Weici would think. Oryon definetly would need to explain things to her, and he didn't want that. So he remained silent, and looked to the door, hoping that Nomi would come into the room soon and started talking, not caring about what the topic would be.
Nomi followed the first guest, shy but excited. But as soon as he entered the living room, the mood reeked of uncomfort. He looked at Weici and Maggie, but then made a weird waving movement. "So, who wants a drink? Lemonade?" They all got lemonades, and they drank and talked a little. Nomi just hoped the mood cleared up some in the meantime. But sooner than he'd thought, the clock said it was the starting time of the party. But just as the clock made a cute little 'coo-coo' sound, the doorbell rang. "Well.. i can guess who the first guest is," Nomi smiled with a little laugh. He was prepared to take a bet that it was Kaoru. He'd always been punctual to the point of scary. Nomi stood up and walked to the door, happy with the nice mood that had been there up until now. "H-hey," Nomi said, "how long were you waiting this time?" "About twenty minutes.." the man mumbled. Nomi sighed and felt bad, he should've known to check the door sooner. Kaoru was probably standing there, looking at his watch, waiting for the time to be exactly right. Nomi led the man inside. Kaoru had to bend over to get into the room, since he was longer than 2 meters. "E-everyone, this is Kaoru, Kaoru, this is Maggie, Weici and Oryon," Nomi said happily. Kaoru just stood there and nodded, not sure what to do right now.
She looked up at the man that entered. He had a somewhat reserved vibe about him, so Maggie smiled a bit shyly, not really sure how to handle the new prescence, someone she hadn’t seen before. However, despite her awkwardness, she was glad it was getting a little more crowdy, since after all she and Oryon had gone through, only having him there as a guest was even more awkward. After all, what could you possibly say to someone you only knew from a time where both of you could very well wind up dead? Certainly not something about the weather, that was for sure. “Hello mr. Kaoru,” Maggie greeted, politely, yet also a little bit timid.
Weici was curious to who was at the door, could it be someone she invited? Or someone else? She was exited to meet new people but she couldn't wait to see her friends either. When the door opened and she saw a dark haired guy walked into the room she immidiatly recognized him. She was surprised when she saw the shocked look on his face when he looked to her and Maggie. Was there something wrong? Was there maybe something on her face? She quickly stroke with one of her hands over her face to feel is someone was on there, but there wasn't anything, at least, she couldnt feel anything weird. When Oryon greeted them she relaxed some more, if there would be something weird he would have said it, she was sure about that. After they all got some lemonade, the doorbell ringed again. Weici looked at the clock and noticed it was just the time for the guests to arrive. "E-everyone, this is Kaoru, Kaoru, this is Maggie, Weici and Oryon," She held up her hand shortly and smiled. "Hi Kaoru!" She greeted enthousiastically. Weici wasn't sure what to think of him yet, but she would find out sooner or later.
